Edmonds CC is a public two-year college located just 25 minutes north of Seattle in Washington State. Located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, Edmonds CC is about 1.5 hours from Vancouver, Canada, and minutes away from beaches and waterfront parks on the beautiful Puget Sound.
The campus is in a safe, quiet suburb of Seattle and provides the perfect environment for students to study.
Our two-year transfer degrees are designed to provide students with a broad background of study during their first and second years of college. Advisors will help you schedule classes so you can transfer as a college junior to any public and most private four-year schools.

Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in the United States, students complete specific requirements for their major as well as general requirements. Representing a foundation of learning in various areas: math, writing, science, social science and humanities. Students are given freedom to select the classes of their choice from general categories.
The 2 + 2 transfer program provides courses equivalent to the first two years of a university degree.

Students can get a head start on college by completing their high school degree and earning college credits at the same time. Our program is open to all students 16 years of age or older who have not yet earned a high school diploma. Classes taken in a student’s home country or while studying abroad may count toward the diploma. The program is designed to fit each student’s previous high school education. Students often can take college courses to satisfy high school and college requirements.
No high school experience is required. However, students may get high school credits for classes already taken. Please submit official high school transcripts in English for every year of high school completed

English Porficiency Requirements
Students are given an English assessment test upon arrival to determine placement in the program. If necessary, students will be given Intensive English as a Second Language instruction to prepare them for the high school portion of the program.
Students who can provide the following official scores will be guaranteed to enter the high school program during their first quarter at Edmonds CC.
- International TOEFL 480 PBT, 55 IBT, 157 CBT
- Edmonds Community College Institutional TOEFL 480
- IELTS Overall Band Score of 5.0 with at least 5.0 in each band

Students who pass the exam will receive a high school diploma from Edmonds Community College that meets requirements set by Washington State. This diploma is accepted by most colleges and universities in the US and Canada.
